Lewis was nominated for 'Best Emerging Artist' at Adelaide Fringe in 2017 for his show The World I Live In, and followed up with nominations for 'Best Comedy' at Perth Fringe World and the prestigious 'Best Newcomer Award' at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2018. He has since written and toured a new solo show every year, building a loyal audience.

His 2023 show, Lewis Garnham Hit A Pigeon With His Bike, sold out across six cities (including selling out his entire 22 night run at Melbourne Int. Comedy Festival) and became his debut stand-up special. It was produced by Recliner Films and released on Youtube where it clocked over 40,000 views in the first two months.

In 2024, Lewis performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Oxfam Gala at The Palais Theatre - the biggest night in Australian comedy. He was also recipient of a Moosehead Award for his show Choosing The Wrong Story To Tell, had a successful Edinburgh Fringe run with a four star review in The Scotsman and multiple sell out shows and released Choosing The Wrong Story To Tell as his second special. This time it was shot at the iconic venue, Max Watts, Melbourne. Choosing The Wrong Story To Tell has since been acquired and re-released by 800 Pound Gorilla Media.

Lewis' self produced 2025 tour sold out its entire runs in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Byron Bay. At the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, after his entire 22 night season sold out, Lewis added 10 extra shows in bigger venues, which also entirely sold out. This show, titled; Stream of Contentedness, was brought back to ‘Replay Festival’ at Comedy Republic, Melbourne, where it sold out immediately and three extra shows were added and entirely sold out. It was filmed in a stylistic one-shot style and will be released as his third full length special in the lead up to his 2026 tour schedule.

Meanwhile, Lewis has amassed a huge online following. He has garnered 82,000 Tiktok followers and 52,000 Instagram followers. Many of his videos have millions of views.
An emerging screen actor, Lewis stars in Broken Elbow, an upcoming feature film (2026 release). He played a lead role in the acclaimed short A Rose For Katrina, which screened at Tribeca, Flickerfest, and St Kilda Film Festival. He also stars as Dev in Accident, another short set for release later in 2025.
In 2022 Lewis had four short stories published in 'Split Bill', a book series by Somekind Press. He has also had satirical news articles published and has written and presented countless segments for Triple J, Triple M and Fresh FM. Lewis hosts a weekly podcast called Stream of Contentedness which is an eclectic mix of comedy, cultural analysis and storytelling.
